This April, the Indiana WMU leadership team enjoyed a wonderful spring planning meeting, hosted by Northeast Park Baptist Church in Evansville. The team was blessed to have a relaxing dinner together Friday night, and several were able to spend the night in the associational duplex. What a great resource for missionaries and ministry groups who are visiting the Southwestern Indiana Baptist Association! Thank you so much, SWIBA, for your hospitality!

Saturday, the team was able to go over a full agenda, including the following:

  • A review of the National WMU January Board Meeting
  • Annie Armstrong and Lottie Moon Offering updates
  • MEG Scholarship applicant review and approval
  • Upcoming website additions
  • Planning ahead for Missions Lifeline 2026 and SBC 2027

Additionally, several guests were able to attend the planning meeting, and we welcomed some potential future team members. This is indeed an exciting time for Indiana's WMU! We are excited to grow and learn together, as we seek to serve our associations and state well—Lord willing, hosting many opportunities for missions education and equipping in the future.
